The tape's been choppy. Kids are back in school. So, I put the downtime to work.
Decades of reading market breadth & sentiment, finally built into a dashboard for Market Posture. It boils the tape down to one question... how much risk does the backdrop support?
How it works. π§΅
I've pounded the table on this idea for over 2 decades now... when there's crossover with the same names between multiple different scans, those are often worth keeping a closer eye on. $NBIS $AXTI $LITE $SMTC $AYA $CRCL $OSCR recent examples. πͺ
Velocity Scan for Friday, 9/18. Familiar names & expanded list, but friendly reminder OpEx tends to skew those "days to turn" float numbers. In line with nearly all else I've shared this weekend, it's a good start, but we need to see more. $AXTI $LITE $MXL $SMTC $FORM up top! π
@PatternProfits Two options I know of. One People can post it to any AI pic capable, like Perplexity and just tell it to clean it up. That's the pic I posted below from yours. I can read it easily now. Second is to load it as an attachment as well. Something about the pixels or what not...
Every week I screen the entire market for institutional quality growth leaders.
Hard floors -> EPS +25%, revenue +25%, relative strength top 20%. No exceptions.
What survives gets ranked, earnings 1st. The strongest growth & price action in one list.
This week's Focus List.π
Time & price both play a role. Noon often offers a retrace of the AM move + 7683.50 Put Wall right there. Hang around for $ES PDL to capture 3 handles? No thanks. R/R makes no sense there.
Now, a non OpEx day with $NQ also taking out the IB low with $ES? Different story entirely.
Quick CSP OpEx sneak peek. We're at 43 midday. I told @shrederickson I wanted to see 50+. Well on our way. Remember, this doesn't fully update until tomorrow morning, so I won't likely have the full run + dashboard until then. Some familiar names... $NBIS $CRCL $SMTC $AYA $SNDK
$NQ Noon Curve validated.
This is an extremely difficult week with the Fed + Rollover + OpEx. Forget about green. If one simply survived day trading futures, that's real progress. It does get easier than this.
If green on the week, congrats! Payday was well earned! πͺ HAGW all!
