Woke Manchester Museum has taken Egyptian mummy Asru off display out of respect for her wishes (no this isn't a joke)

A spokesman said the move aligns most closely with what we understand about her own wishes and how the museum now thinks about ancestors

Asru was a temple musician who died around 650 BC and her remains have been on show in Manchester since they were donated in 1825

She was the last mummified person still on public display at the museum and is now in storage while they consider keeping her or sending her back to Egypt

The museum said it consulted Egyptian colleagues diaspora groups and visitors

How did they communicate with her? Seance?

If You Want War — You Go First

15 April 1945. Three weeks before German surrender. British troops open the gates of Bergen-Belsen. What they find is not a battlefield. It is hell with a roll call.

Around 60,000 living skeletons packed without food, water, or sanitation — typhus, dysentery, starvation. Thousands of corpses rotting in the open; more would die even after liberation. SS arrogance met British steel. The guards were put to burying the dead. Locals were made to look. Actor Dirk Bogarde, then a young intelligence officer, was among those whose lives were branded by what he saw. The images remain appalling. They should. That is what industrial evil looks like when governments and ideologies treat human beings as waste.

Now listen to our own age.

The same class that will never dig a trench bangs the drum for war with Russia. Billions abroad. Sermons about democracy. NATO theatre. Meanwhile they import a parallel crisis at home — boats, hotels, replacement, two-tier law — and call the native who notices a bigot. Look at Belsen’s warning and then look at Westminster: war is good for their pockets and their prestige. It is death for everyone else.

It will not be them on the front line.
It will never be them.

They will be tucked in bunkers and briefings, second homes warm, children safe, pensions indexed. The poor will wear the uniform. The working-class boy from the estate will hold the rifle. The immigrant they celebrated on Tuesday will be cannon fodder on Thursday — or the chaos they imported will be someone else’s problem while they holiday. Snivelling little rats in suits. They call for blood they will never spill.

Not this time.

If the government wants war, they go first. Starmer. The cabinet. The defence secretaries who never missed a dinner. The think-tank warriors. The king’s soft court. The media hawks who will not bury a single son. Put them on the embarkation list before you touch a single conscript from Fleet, from the valleys, from the schemes. Rich men’s wars have always been poor men’s graves. That racket ends when the architects of war are ordered to the mud.

War is not glory. Belsen is the receipt. Mass graves are the receipt. Mothers without sons are the receipt. The only people who profit are the ones who never go — arms contracts, aid contracts, speeches, knighthoods. They instigate. You die. They dine.

So here is the line in English:

You want a war with Russia? You board the plane.
You want endless foreign blood while England’s border dissolves? You dig the trench.
You want to lecture patriotism while you import division and tax the native flat? You can fuck yourselves.

We have seen the footage of what war and ideology do to bodies. We have seen elites treat populations as chips. We will not offer our children as the next chip.

Remigration. Closed borders. One law. No more blank cheques for foreign death while home burns. Restore Britain. Rupert Lowe — not the rats who bang the drum from a bunker.

If they want war —
they go first.
Or there is no war.
