Been sick for the past 3-5ish days (lost count)

Some findings:

- using the phone raises cortisol
^ specifically endless scroll / endless choice media (I’m thinking it taxes the systems required for observation and decision making much more)

- it’s hard not to be attached to pleasure or adverse to pain

- it’s easier said than done to remember you’re not the body when the body is screaming at you

I figure it’s a necessary experience to continue to practice that witness consciousness but it makes me wonder how Yogis, sages and great warriors fared in the face of death

Did they cry out for mercy hoping to hold onto their forms or did they accept even their endings as the will of the Gods?
