What does it take to grow as a woman leader?
At the FITSPA Uganda Women’s Fireside Chat, three lessons stood out:
-Build credibility do what you say.
-Invest in relationships.
- Never stop learning... and be willing to unlearn.
As you rise, open doors for others too.
One of the biggest project management mistakes is rushing to solve a problem before understanding it.
Speed without clarity often leads to solving symptoms, not the root cause.
Before proposing solutions, ask:
• What is the real problem?Who is affected?
• Why does it exist?
Before you label someone an underperformer, ask this:
"What can we do differently over the next 6 months to help you succeed?"
Sometimes underperformance isn't about capability it's about clarity, support, or alignment.
Behind every great leadership session is great preparation.
I’ve recently been exploring @TECNOMobileUG AI, and it’s helping me simplify things like summarizing documents and capturing ideas faster so I can focus more on leading and creating impact.
“Growth hides in information.” – Mr. Pepe Minambo
Attended his pre-book launch on Friday. One thing stood out: sometimes the breakthrough isn’t more effort, but the right information.

Through our conversations, coaching, and intentional mindset shifts, something began to change.
📌 She started reconnecting with her purpose again. 📌 She began seeing the value of her leadership, her contribution, and the impact she makes in people’s lives every single day.
One of the most fulfilling parts of coaching is seeing people reconnect with purpose in their work.
My client who is a manager in the medical field recently give me feedback that:
“I love my job more lately. I show up every day to add impact.”
What made this testimony even more powerful is knowing where she was emotionally a few months ago. Day by day, she had started feeling disconnected from her work.
Anyone can manage a project when things are going well.
The real test of a Project Manager starts when deadlines slip, pressure rises, and unexpected problems appear.
Great Project Managers during crisis:
📌 Communicate early
📌 Focus on priorities
📌 Stay calm under pressure
As someone constantly leading conversations, managing projects, mentoring students, and creating content, I’ve realized something important:
A good phone is part of productivity.
The @tecnomobile CAMON 50 Ultra has genuinely made my workflow smoother.
Focus on the Vital Few, not the Trivial Many.
The 80/20 Rule in project management teaches us that 80% of project results often come from 20% of the work.
Are you focusing on the 20% that truly drives success?
Things That Kill Your Credibility as a New Manager 👇
📌 Saying one thing and doing another
📌 Leading through fear instead of respect
📌 Refusing to listen to your team
People don’t just hear leaders.
They watch them.
What else damages a manager’s credibility early on?
