@GovTimWalz States that allow gender transition of minors without parental consent (what you did in MN) have increased rates of youth suicide: https://t.co/o5xgko99Xu
Since we started @MakeKidsGreater to overturn #gaymarriage, we've been accused of "dividing the right."
So we asked them ourselves.
The result?
There is no divide. Conservatives, and many independents, are on the side of children.
To see how your state laws might have shifted to undermine children's rights to their mother and father, take a look at @ThemBeforeUs's Children's Rights Scorecard: https://t.co/bDtyb2dbf3
When people talk about the redefinition of the family, they're usually thinking of major shifts like Obergefell and the rapid adoption of no-fault divorce post-1969. But state laws have been quietly redefining the family for decades.

I have a velcro baby who loves being near me and can't stand it when I use the bathroom by myself, which sometimes makes me miss using the bathroom alone, but she's also recently learned to clap, which means that I always get applause when I flush!
This is exactly right. Creating a law that says the state may not “interfere” with assisted reproduction closes the door to regulations that protect children, safeguard the best interests of patients, and ensure transparency and accountability in the industry.
"This debate is not about whether we care about couples struggling with infertility. We do. We know that the deep desire to have a child and to build a family is basic human nature. House Bill 836 would dramatically restrict the ability of future legislators to enact common sense protection in an industry where profound ethical questions continue to emerge." (Rep. Charity Grimm Krupa (R - 51)
We're grateful to Rep. Grimm Krupa for her comments on the IVF "Wild West" bill this week, despite its passage through the House.
House Bill 836 seeks to prevent lawmakers from establishing reasonable safety standards and accountability measures for the multi-billion-dollar fertility industry. If successful, concerns surrounding embryo destruction, eugenic screening practices, scientific experimentation, and other ethical issues would be shielded from future oversight.
Please join us in praying that this bill does not advance any farther through the PA Senate. Visit https://t.co/Hye2L7jAei to stay informed.
You actually don't have to be "woke" to think that *all* ableism is offensive. Using or excusing slurs and derogatory speech is not a great way to prove how conservative you are.
I find the R word deeply and disgustingly offensive, having heard it used as a slur directed at people I love on more than a few occasions, and I am also staunchly opposed to killing people on the basis of disability. The Venn diagram is only a circle if you live in a bubble.
The Venn diagram between people who think you should get fired for using the R word and people who think you should be able to euthanize your child if it has Down syndrome is almost a circle
Military families face many financial, emotional, and relational problems. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. Targeting military wives as commercial surrogates not only fails to alleviate these issues, it makes them demonstrably worse, and leads to harm for the child it creates.
Your state just got graded on how well it protects children, and the results are a call to action.
Them Before Us released a report card ranking all 50 states on children’s rights and family policy.
Pennsylvania ranked 30th in the nation with a C grade.
The scorecard examined issues like surrogacy, IVF, divorce policy, and parentage laws — all through one central question: Do our laws put the rights and well-being of children first?
Here in Pennsylvania, our law recognizes natural marriage and includes language that recognizes mothers and fathers.
But a 2025 PA Supreme Court decision established intent-based parentage and allowed adults to gain full parental rights over children with no biological connection and no background check. These aren't just legal debates, either. They're policies that shape identity and stability for children.
Children do not vote.
They do not lobby lawmakers.
They depend on us to protect their interests.
Children depend on informed citizens willing to step into the arena. Sign up for our email alerts and stay equipped with timely updates and action opportunities to help protect children and renew our Commonwealth. Visit https://t.co/WwXhJTje9q to get informed today!

@ProLifeIVF And the pro-life movement wouldn't in other circumstances accept discarding lives that have a chance of surviving. If you're going to promote "pro-life IVF" then apply the standards of pro-lifers, not the standards of an industry that doesn't acknowledge embryos as human lives.
@ProLifeIVF The second study he cites says that there's a roughly 50% disagreement rate when it comes to whether or not to freeze borderline embryos (the ones that aren't frozen aren't used.) So yes, the point stands - determining viability is often arbitrary.
@ProLifeIVF If there's uncertainty as to whether there's life/survivability—even slight uncertainty—then destruction of that life is morally wrong. The IVF industry does this, insisting these embryos had “no chance” when the research shows their standards for determining that are arbitrary.
@ProLifeIVF Well, no. That's actually not what the research says. Studies show that embryologists do not have a consensus on embryo grading. If it's a coin flip whether or not embryologists agree that an embryo is "nonviable" than you can't actually say that it's a 0% chance of survival.
It's not just Home Depot. And it's not just children's bodies that are at risk. Hundreds of companies value credits over kids.
@HRC has devised a system that leverages corporate power against the life, families, and health of children in the name of LGBT inclusion.
Your lipstick, your burrito, your lawn chairs are fueling a system that snuffs out little lives, separates children from their mother or father, and harms their physical bodies.
My nonprofit @ThemBeforeUs detailed how 70/100 points needed to achieve a perfect CEI score are built on the backs of child victimization.

If you're a pro-lifer who is pro-IVF or on the fence, I urge you to read this. You need to understand what the industry is doing and what pro-life couples are up against when they entrust the lives of their children to this industry.
