๐๐พTo complete our topic of Reconciliation in RE. Year 3 took a trip to the lake to reflect on what it means to sin.๐ญThey transferred all their wrong choices into a small pebble and released it into the lake to symbolise them letting go of their Sin to be Reconciled with God๐ชจ๐
๐ Year 3 were super proud of themselves for absolutely crushing Puzzle Day! ๐งฉ They tackled a variety of brain-teasers with teamwork, enthusiasm and definitely perseverance. They achieved great results using their problem-solving skills! ๐๐พ
The Minnie Vinnies may be small but they have strength, as they carried bags filled with items on the bus and walked part way to reach the charity shop in this glorious hot weather. They were rewarded with an ice lolly to cool down. Well done Minnie Vinnies ๐๐พ๐๐พ
What a busy few weeks our Mini Vinnies have had.! Today, they helped to bag up clothes, shoes, toys and books left over from our jumble sale on Friday to take to a local charity shop.

โช๏ธYear 3 embarked on a pilgrimage to St. Georgeโs Cathedralโจ! We completed our pilgrimage by attending a mass service led by Archbishop John Wilson ๐๐พ.
Year 3 explored our local transport and made some fantastic observations comparing it to ancient transport๐. We hopped on the Elizabeth Line๐, took the DLR๐ to London city airportโ๏ธ. Then we analysed the different boats๐ฅ๏ธ along the Thames whilst watching some planes land๐ฃ๏ธ.
VE DAY 8th May
St. John Fisher had a celebration with the whole school singing along to war time songs. Children took part in a VAR workshop to understand what life was like in 1945.

Year 3 delved into the fascinating world of books and writing in Judaism. The children loved learning about sacred texts and the significance of storytelling.
What a fantastic Black History Celebration we had! Huge thanks to all the parents who turned out in droves to support this event. Your enthusiasm makes a real difference! I reckon we're going to need a bigger hall next time!
We took Years 1,2,3 & 4 to the cinema for the Into Film Festival, and it was a blast! The kids were buzzing with excitement, enjoying fantastic films and learning so much. Such a brilliant way to spark their creativity and love for cinema! ๐ฟโจ #IntoFilmFestival
