Nalanda's Pulak Prasad's book had a huge impact on the the way I Invest.
While reading the book I have taken detailed notes and created a checklist for myself before choosing any business for an investment.
Luckily with AI, I could compress my notes in a single image👌
🎯 Everyone's suddenly talking about Pulak Prasad & Nalanda Capital's "zero noise" compounding magic.
But do you know why they take MONTHS to study high-ROCE companies instead of jumping in?
Here's the real edge behind their patience (thread 🧵)
There are research analysts earning lakhs of rupees in government companies like LIC and this is what they do:
(You can't rely on borrowed conviction of almost no DII or FII for your personal Investing, Ekla chalo re!!)
I still remember how people trolled me on Twitter 3–4 years ago because I am a homoeopathic doc. One thing I always said back then, and I still say today you can troll us all you want but in the end, many of you will come to us for treatment.
Today, I actually feel grateful for that trolling because it pushed me to work harder and achieve more in life. The people who have nothing better to do will always criticize, but those who have experienced the treatment and seen the results know its value. Anushka Sharma shared a story about homeopathy, and she’s not the only one. Many well known personalities believe in it because they have personally benefited from it.
I’ve always told people if a treatment isn’t working for you, change the doctor but don’t judge an entire system based on one experience. Every field has good and bad practitioners. At the end of the day, what matters most are the results, the trust of patients, and the lives that improve because of the treatment.
I genuinely don’t see anything wrong here.
A grandmother asking a younger brother to accompany his sister at night isn’t “patriarchy”, it’s family concern.
In fact, she’s also indirectly teaching the boy a sense of responsibility toward his sister and family.
Protection isn’t always about physical strength.
It’s about presence, care, and looking out for one another.
The day families stop caring whether their daughters return home safely is the day we should be worried not when grandparents ask siblings to walk together.
Why did it evolve?
The main reason is probably to allow an extremely long tongue.
They need to:
Reach deep into holes.
Pull insects and larvae from tunnels.
Probe bark crevices.
Some species can extend their tongues several centimeters beyond their beaks.
interesting stuff🤯
@maheshp88169779 "Whose survival depends on others unko parasites hi bolte h"
If this is your definition then we are all parasites.
Freebies are distributed by government not just to farmers but to anyone, even women in a few states like Maharashtra
@maheshp88169779 They are just taking benefits of the schemes government have created for them legally, just like how you use section 80C in old regime to save tax.
Blame goverment if you want them to stop this..
