@simontutt88@TheLeeMcLaren I've considered this dilemma with my own student. The compromise we have reached together is that I will attend the first job of the shift, and then they will attend the rest of the shift.
This way, by observing me attend the 1st job I am able to set / display the standard.
Very excited to be able to share the key messages from the EXIT project in animated form.

#WATCH | This is the shocking moment two paramedics were stabbed in #Wolverhampton.
Knifeman Martyn Smith has been jailed today for 9 years.
The paramedics consented to us releasing the video to highlight the dangers Blue Light workers can face while protecting the public.
First FI block completed. No systemic analgesic or dissociation required. Perfect relief making extrication easy.
Landmark technique worked well and those pops are unreal.
Iโll fly up and sign you off @paramedickiwi @SarahWerner_NZ
#SystemicAnalgesiaSucks
Nothing makes my heart sink more than a C1 โconfirmed cardiac arrest, 90 year old male, CPR instructions being givenโ.
Driving through the pouring rain and darkness towards another encounter with death and sadness is nothing short of pathetic fallacy.

Undeniably, there is a culture in the ambulance service of performing every diagnostic test "just in case".
@KernowShaun talks us through why this approach is not only unethical, but also dangerous for our patients.
