@Rhysifans1 Hi, Rhys! How are you! Have you read my musical/rock opera, “Paris is Burning: The True Story of Paris and Helena”? https://t.co/noBDp9W4OR
@DonaldJTrumpJr So, we are going to take away the ONLY reference to Eskimos in popular culture??? That is called erasing them, not being sensitive. Typical to Old Southern Democrats.
@PetersonElam More generally, (7) ALL officials at all levels should be required to pass & post their scores for the State Department exam; & mental health exams. Public service is service. Americans deserve officials who understand & support American civics & institutions, & are mentally fit.
@PetersonElam (6) Judges should be appointed by a panel (at appropriate level of government) from executive, legislative, & judicial branches. They should be hired & fired thru professional process, including annual review of docket & decisions, local state to upper Fed levels. No elections.
@PetersonElam I'm not an activist. I usually stay out of politics, I don't campaign, etc. However, I do have a blog where I write about a range of political and political cultural issues. The blog welcomes contributions :)
@PetersonElam If lawyers represent the system, it is called being government lawyers. Then the state pays the legal bill and everyone is equally represented or misrepresented. It is one way to reduce unnecessary litigation. If client pays the bill, lawyer must represent the client alone.
@PetersonElam The system@ local level does not follow statute or Constitution. Lawyers are supposed to represent the client by law, otherwise it is fraud. Democracy at Federal & maybe State level, but not local level for most people. Need national leadership on structural change @ local level.
