1. Never "Verify" Value, Find Value!
The number one valuation mistake is already having an idea of value before doing the research.
Most of the time, we use the current price as an anchor. By doing so, our valuation is doomed to fail.
We'll inevitably come up with a number close to the current price because our idea of value affects our estimates.
To avoid this, it is enough to intentionally tell yourself that you're doing the research to find out what the value is, not verify the current price.
2. Unreasonable Assumptions
The entire valuation depends on our assumptions; messing them up is a costly mistake.
Question your story, the sum of all your assumptions with the 3 P's.
