This scare campaign of his is aimed at middle-class people to buy up more property - just like him - or “get wiped out”

He is part of the problem. He makes his money from property and renting his properties while they increase in price. They are therefore NOT on the market to buy for any prospective first-home buyers.

This is one of the biggest problems with home ownership - it started with John Howard when he reduced capital gains tax. Australia has endured boom property investment ever since without the concurrent new builds to keep pace.
