PBD Says He’ll Pay Any MLB Players’ Fine for Not Wearing the Pride Hat
"I wanna see the player who doesn't wear it and gets fined. I'll pay the fine. I will pay your fine. Contact us, wear the hat proudly, let them suspend you. We will recognize you for having the brass to say, I don't care who you sleep with at night because it's none of my business and none of my kids' business, period. Let us just play the game."
"Why do I care what you do in your bedroom? Why do I care who you're attracted to? Why is that such an important discussion? Why should this even be a topic? Who cares if you're gay or straight? Why is it any of my business? It shouldn't be any of my business."
About one third of Americans say they read fewer books today than they did 10 years ago.
Half say it’s because they don’t have enough free time.
The other half say there are simply too many distractions competing for their attention.
More than a third also report that their attention spans have gotten worse over the past decade.
Meanwhile, the average person spends 10–20 hours per week watching short-form videos.
Let’s use the midpoint: 15 hours per week.
15 hours × 52 weeks = 780 hours per year
The average book takes about 6–10 hours to read.
Let’s use 8 hours.
780 ÷ 8 = 97.5 books
That’s roughly 100 books per year.
Now imagine someone went on a 5 yr short-form video fast and replaced that time with reading 500 books on:
Money
Business
Leadership
Human Nature
Great biographies
What do you think would happen to that person?
The way they think would change.
The way they see opportunities would change.
The way they understand people would change.
There are no guarantees in life, but the odds of success would certainly move in their favor.
That’s essentially what I did from age 21 to 35 after leaving the military.
And this doesn’t just apply to Gen Z, it applies to every generation.
Whether you’re 16 or 60, you can make this adjustment.
The future looks bright for those who remain curious, committed to learning, and willing to invest in themselves.
If only the govt was as good at innovation as free market.
If only the govt spent as much money on R&D as free market.
If only the govt spent less.
If only the govt printed less money.
It only politicians had term limits.
Capitalism works!
PBD was gracious to have me on and give me room to say what I think, even where we disagree.
I appreciate that he is a builder and a voice for agency. To say his operation in Florida is impressive is to lie by understatement.

The most dangerous people aren’t lazy slackers.
They’re the lazy but insanely ambitious ones.
Patrick Bet-David nailed it: no talent, no charisma, but they grind 24/7 with one mission, getting ahead. And if you’re in their path? They’ll come for you.
His real talk advice: Stay polite, don’t offend them… but create serious distance, fast.
Ambition without character quietly destroys everything around it.
You ever dealt with one of these types? How’d it play out?
Haaland is a beast. 2 goals in 40 minutes.
Something very attractive about his attitude and the way he plays the game.
Great example of good things happen when you hustle. https://t.co/kcW18ELcSw
Does Voter fraud exist in America?
If sports can get it right with instant replay, we can eliminate all election fraud.
I’m not sure they all want to.
Thoughts?👇🏽
I predicted the President would have this deal done by June 14th.
This was never going to be a long war.
Congratulations to the President and his team for getting this done by his birthday.
Happy 80th Birthday to @realDonaldTrump
Major respect for the Knicks. They wanted it more.
Jalen Brunson has officially won a championship at all levels. High school, College & the NBA.
The Spurs lost this championship. Very difficult to watch them play in the 4th quarter.
Very happy for all my friends in NY.
Double dumb comment.
Musk created over 500k jobs and thousands of millionaires.
What have you created?
PS: there will be at least 5 NEW trillionaires the next 2-5 years.
A man working as a welder at SpaceX for $28 an hour has just become a millionaire.
Juan Hernandez, who came from Mexico, welded rockets for SpaceX at $28 an hour.
SpaceX gave him $10,000 in stock when he went full time in 2015, and he bought more with every paycheck for 10 years.
$SPCX is now trading at $167, making his shares worth over $1 million.
