I was thinking a month or two ago that Vince is up there with the absolute greats in terms of impact in the gaming industry. Just an enormous presence, and often, not recognised enough.

Vince Zampella has sadly passed away at the age of 55 in a car accident.
He was a co-creator of the Call of Duty franchise as well as the co-founder of Infinity Ward and Respawn Entertainment.

Overwatch 1, even when no new content was coming out and all we got was occasional balance patches at the end of its life, was still more enjoyable than Overwatch 2 has ever been.
The best thing about Avatar is how unashamedly weird it is. Its lore and the bio-psychodelic fixation is ripped from some back-of-the-library 1970s sci-fi book, but its the biggest film franchise in the world.
