‼️🇬🇧🇺🇸🇮🇷 The United Kingdom has declared that it is fully prepared to defend itself after Iran warned of "consequences" if British military facilities are used to support U.S. operations against Iran.

The warning specifically referenced RAF Fairford, a key Royal Air Force base that Iranian officials claim was used to support a U.S. B-1 bomber strike on targets inside Iran earlier this week.

In response, the UK Ministry of Defence said Britain's armed forces remain on constant alert and are prepared to respond to any threat.

"Our armed forces are ready to protect the security of the UK from any form of attack, whether on our soil or beyond. The UK is ready to defend itself 24/7," the ministry said.

The exchange marks another escalation in tensions, raising concerns that countries providing logistical or military support to U.S. operations could increasingly become part of Iran's deterrence strategy as the regional crisis deepens.
