@OrientOutlook Ahh, gutted! Always felt highly unlikely that we’d have any chance of getting him - but he would have been a massive signing.
Hope he has a great career. Top keeper (and was always great with my 11 year old ‘Orient ultra’ son, who loved him!).
@leytonorientfc Shame he’s not leaving on a more upbeat note. With time, I think he’ll be remembered positively and as a valuable servant to the club. Very influential in our league winning side, scored some absolute bangers, that chest-down in the play-off semi final. Classy player on his day.
@FreddieNathan@oli_sonenfield@ARoseOs Pretty dumb thing to shout, to be honest. Why would you want to piss-off / distract our manager halfway through an important game? And who would you have started over Charlie last night?
I know it was a shit game, but I thought a decent point against a good Mansfield side
@BillyCarroll21@kevincowlan@SteveWhiteLOFC But the key difference is that Walsall’s owners have publicly stated a short-term goal to get promoted to L1 (so this season is a ‘failure’ on that goal) - whereas our owners want to become a sustainable Championship club within the next 10 years (i.e far less urgency)
