My friend Zena managed to research and write a play about post partum psychosis, get it produced during Covid, and make it funny. It’s on next week, an actual night out at the theatre, and if you live in Oxford you should go.

Seeing is believing - data now coming from our rig on dynamics of crystal nucleation in liquid Al-Pt alloys @synchroSOLEIL Psiche. So impressed by the @OxfordMaterials & @STFC_Matters team working through the nights...
Packed room @OxfordMaterials to hear our wonderful colleague Prof Steve Roberts giving his final Materials for Fission and Fusion Power presentation + reflections on a brilliant career, and eventful gliding escapades!
Sitting in my office, about to give a lecture to potential Oxford applicants.
My core piece of advice to every candidate: do not de-select yourself out of the process. Give yourself the opportunity & apply. Don't let anyone tell you, you are not able & worthy.
