So hey, it’s been a year since I was in the hospital diagnosed with acute systolic congestive heart failure. Some of you have been wondering how I’m doing and wtf happened, so here’s a thread~~~
Good news! Got stabbed in the neck!
They poked around my heart a bit. Switched up some meds. Got some good sleep, the best in weeks!
Short-term is feeling good, just need to be able to keep this up outside of the hospital.
Bonus pic of my dumb face.
You’re welcome!
Update: Having a Right Heart Catherterzation done later today. Basically shoving a probe down my neck and in to my heart so they can poke around and see what’s up. Fun! 😵
Welp, the cardioversion procedure was unsuccessful. Now on to plan B I guess? (Plan B is pretty much just throwing meds at the problem and hope something works🤷🏻♂️)
So the past 2 weeks my heart’s been going haywire. My resting heart rate, normally around 70bpm, has slowly crept up over 100. Nothing brings it down, meds aren’t helping. Sleep for more than 2hrs at a time is impossible. It’s been rough.
@LordRetail Yeah I don’t think I ever finished it first time around. Honestly it’s fine, I just picked a very bad week to revisit with my heart going haywire. Probably better off finishing it in a week or so after we get the tachycardia under control 🙃
