@ashbinks2588 Nah it was good. Atmospheric, eerie, great concept and direction and set design. There were flaws for sure (with the character work), but it ripped overall. I'm not surprised heaps of people are bagging it though. It's not Conjuring 12.
@NewEraZach It was great. But I'm not surprised loads of normies will say it's the worst thing they've ever seen. Depressed by see it happen, but not surprised.
@LinkCryptoChain Nah I loved it. The character work was a bit rough around the edges but the direction and story were compelling. Atmospheric and tense. Amazing set design. But I'm not surprised loads of people will hate it. I don't know what they want- constant jump scares is my guess.
@SadVampire1776 I loved em both but I also see movies pretty quick before the hype kicks in. I'm not that prone to hating on movies cos they were hyped but it does happen to people.
@sadiesorceress Another shit take. I'm not surprised though. People want constant jump scares and everything spoon fed to them. Backrooms wasn't perfect but it was very good. Atmospheric and tense and original.
@Albesure99@Michael_Clites The first half an hour was a bit slow, but so what? Go back and watch Alien or The Shining or Blade Runner and see how slow they were. There's no question that the internet has fried people's attention spans now by comparison.
@Stone28Banks@Michael_Clites I found Undertone underwhelming (it reminded me of an Aussie movie called Monolith that I liked more). This was way better than Undertone imo
@GilroyMusic Nah it was great. There's one scene that didn't entirely work for me (the dinner scene, the character turn didn't feel fully earnt to me), the rest was great. I don't know what people expected.
@delaneykalea Anyone who says it's the worst movie they've ever seen is a moron. I don't know what they expected. Constant jump scares? Every little thing answered?
@Prodigy487 It's neither. But it's quite good. Not perfect, but I was thrilled by it overall. I can't believe how basic these people are that think its awful. But a lot of people can't deal with abstract stuff. They want constant jump scares and everything completely answered.
