@pcvale I agree that it’s more palatable if you label it a billionaire tax. Tye reality is that it’s a property tax on an asset that was never previously taxed. A majority of Americans understand property taxes and they hate them...

Grocery stores make almost no profit. Regular Americans can afford more groceries than in 2019. Grocery inflation has been around 0 for almost two years.
Price controls on groceries are a bad idea in response to a problem that doesn't exist.
