Broken Utility Box Eposes Hidden Cameras

After a storm knocked down a tree near the Chain Bridge that connects DC to Virginia, a utility worker in the DC area, spotted a box that was on the pole that was broken open.

Hanging out were a pair of cameras that had been looking out of a window on the box.

The window was disguised to look like a warning label like the one on the opposite side of the box.

The power cable for this box had been run up the pole and into the head LED part of a street lamp and tapped into the 120v power from the lamp, which is unmetered, so nobody gets billed for it.

The cameras were pointed towards the road coming from VA and going towards the Chain Bridge and the road that goes to the left where many diplomats live (Ambassador Residences).
