On the night of November 23, 2025, around 10:25 PM, a murder incident occurred in Ntawo cell, Mukono Central Division, Mukono municipality. ASP Bagenda Emmanuel, Officer in Charge of Ntawo Police Post, along with a police constable pursued suspected armed robbers following a report of armed robbery in Kiwala village.
When they attempted to stop a suspicious motorcycle, the occupants opened fire, fatally wounding ASP Bagenda Emmanuel. The police constable was also injured but survived and was transferred to the hospital.
The assailants also robbed an AK 47 riffle from the police officers.
Uganda Police Force is pursuing the assailants, who will be brought to justice once apprehended.

@AlienSkinUg, the Ugandan musician, hasn't been arrested. Security personnel did visit his home on Friday for further inquiries, but he wasn't there, reportedly because he's been hiding. Therefore, he can not be taken to court before being arrested/summoned.
