@lubiephil My small donation is to say thank you for sharing your story over the last few years, I hope you can find some pleasure in knowing people want to be part of your journey with your beautiful boys
I’m going to tell it like it is. The 3 anti - refugee and migrant bills by the Albanese Gov are an attack on multiculturalism. An attack on migrant and refugee communities. They will impact at least 80,000 people, tear families apart & breach international human rights laws.
Boarding plane soon to Canberra because the party of my migrant parents tomorrow wants to pass 3 laws that could see up to 80,000 people deported, refugees rounded up, caged & sent to danger, families torn apart again & dogs used on those detained
This is not what I voted for
A Govt confident in its compliance with our international obligations, the rule of law, basic decency, humanity and necessity of its proposed laws would enable proper scrutiny, rather than ramming them through - laws which endanger rights and lives. @RefugeeLegal
In the face of a clear ruling by the High Court that curfew and ankle bracelet conditions are unconstitutional, the Govt is resorting to new laws which are conscious, calculated cruelty. @RefugeeLegal
"These are some of the most harmful and extreme Bills we’ve seen in over a decade, and the speed with which they’re being pushed through makes it all the more shocking." - @1PaulPower, CEO, Refugee Council of Australia

@MiltonDickMP You don't speak for Australians.
He's a retrograde, science-denying, anti-women's rights stain on the Australian landscape.
The sooner he's gone, the better.
For those who have been wondering where I am, I’ve only just gotten out of hospital.
The routine surgery I had turned into a life-threatening nightmare when something was nicked inside of me and I haemorrhaged internally for days before they found it.
I was transferred to a major hospital in Brisbane for emergency surgery and blood transfusions to save my life.
I have been told that I will likely feel lethargic for the next few weeks and rest for recovery is my only option.
I have also been rethinking my subscription on this platform and I have cancelled my blue tick as from December. Life is too fkn short, folks, almost a lot shorter than I wanted it to be - & I refuse to pay Elmo anymore for being a fascist k*nt.
I’m finding all of this so hard, it’s a constant kick in the guts, after 8 yrs of fight I’m feeling broken again & again, has it all been for nothing??? Not one person has been held accountable, not fkn one 🤬😢🤬💔💔💔

I want everyone to remember how that sociopathic prick, Peter van Onselen, made @gemcarey ‘s life extremely difficult, just because he fucking well could.
@criprights It's broken me today. I knew she'd pulled back here u didn't realise she'd taken a turn. If there is anything we can do to help her partner and son please let us know. She saved me when I was dreadful with long covid and helped me find resources. She literally kept my hope alive
Surely it’s plainly obvious NACC Commissioner Brereton is lying through his teeth on the reasons for his decision not to allow the NACC to investigate Robodebt referrals, but even if we took him at his word that it really was all from his stupid mistakes, why hasn’t he resigned?
