“Vemos con preocupación las amenazas de tinte autocrático del primer ministro Magyar contra el presidente de Hungría y personas que representan algunos de los poderes constitucionales. Sorprende que, después de acusar al ex primer ministro y presidente de Fidesz, @PM_ViktorOrban , de copar todas las instituciones con gente afín a su persona, exija anular los plazos constitucionales para hacer tabla rasa e imponer personas obedientes al propio Magyar.

Pero resulta igual de grave, si no más, que el PPE haya pedido levantar la aplicación del artículo 7, un mecanismo que ha servido para asfixiar y bloquear fondos al pueblo húngaro. Queda claro que el problema de la Comisión no eran los procedimientos, sino las ideas que representaba y defendía el Gobierno húngaro de Viktor Orbán.”
