Strange to see a couple crypto journalists from a ‘crypto’ publication so fundamentally misunderstand the systemic impact of our current financial architecture… and economics in general.

In a capitalist free market society there will be outsized winners, actors who are better at exploiting the market. Deal with it. But focusing on that misses the broader and more important capacity for bitcoin and crypto to effectively change the world in a way that lasts.

Govts and banks have an egregiously pervasive influence over our deliberately flawed financial system. This influence corrupts financial, political and social spheres in their entirety. It is the root cause of all the world’s problems.

Contrary to the @blockworks article, this makes Bitcoin and crypto a perfect single-issue focal vote because crypto is literally designed to peacefully and seamlessly eliminate our dependence on both governments and banks and almost all unnecessary ticket clipping intermediaries. The proliferation of a crypto centric economy renders banks and Govts almost irrelevant in our economy. Almost every factor of life can finally begin to heal from this one solution including the issues they raised.

To dismiss the importance of cryptocurrency in electoral politics is to deny the possibility of substantive systemic change. Like why even be here except to grift. It is not about pushing a niche agenda but about challenging a corrupt system that perpetuates social and economic disparities. Prioritizing cryptocurrency in policy discussions and voting considerations is a direct challenge to these pricks. Self serving voting is rational so vote with your brain not your conscience. That’s the first miracle. Second would be politicians who actually deliver on campaign promises. Maybe @nayibbukele is the start of a new generation. 🤞
