Look, I believe in Drake Maye as much as the next guy, but people around New England need to take the blinders off for a second. He is actively hampering this teams chances at winning.

Rhamondre Stevenson is allergic to the Steelers. They are his kryptonite. What an unfortunate ending to what was a promising first drive.

The Patriots will be heavily scrutinized for this performance, as they should be. Embarrassing showing.

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

Trying not to get impatient in this game, but with both Nick Emmanwori and Ty Okada out, maybe... throw the ball more?

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

The Patriots need to be all over this.

[Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter]

Steelers have released former starting linebacker Elandon Roberts.

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

@MalikBoxing101 @nick__schwager He was consistently rotating with the first offense throughout training camp, that’s a bit of a stretch IMO.

Either way, between this and the depth comment, I think it’d be best if Vrabel kept some things to himself.

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

I perhaps spoke too soon

Behren Morton has been a very pleasant surprise out of the 7th round.

Played a lot if games in college (42), and that experience has been evident throughout camp & preseason matchups.

Gotta give love to John Saunders Jr. as well. In a thin cornerback room he’s looked like one of the better depth options.

Gonna have to play the long game with Gabe Jacas.

Clearly has the strength & violent mindset that Vrabel and this staff adore.

The technical work & play recognition needs work before he can be a consistent contributor.

Which unfortunately the Patriots need to him to be early.

@Fastoolie On site!

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

Doubs as the 2 in New England has got to be one of the most underrated signings across the NFL.

He’s really picked things up the last couple of weeks!

[New England Patriots @Patriots]

Go up and get it Romeo! 😳

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

Tonight, all the sickos get to watch Behren Morton and Cameron Dorner ball. We’re so back.

The #Patriots have been active early today, first extending TE Hunter Henry, then releasing OL Caedan Wallace.

Makes you wonder if any other moves are on the horizon.

[Jordan Schultz @Schultz_Report]

Sources: The #Patriots are releasing OT Caedan Wallace.

Wallace was their 3rd-round pick in 2024 out of Penn State. He will go on waivers as he looks for a fresh start.

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

Caedan Wallace’s time in New England is over. Not a surprising move - a position switch followed by a preseason injury. He was behind on the depth chart.

But man, that 2024 draft class is brutal. Only Drake Maye and Marcellus Dial remain on roster.

The #Patriots lock up Drake Maye’s most reliable target for another 2.

I thought the team could’ve reevaluated this later in the season, but you won’t see me complain about keeping Henry around for the remainder of his career.

Welcome back goat!

[Ian Rapoport @RapSheet]

Sources: The #Patriots have agreed to terms with their standout TE Hunter Henry on a 2-year contract extension, making it likely that he finishes his career with the Pats.

The 31-year-old, a key weapon for Drake Maye, had one year remaining on his contract. Now, locked in.

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

@ScruntKing Definitely one of the more exciting prospects!

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

Less than 4 days until Patriots (Preseason) football! 🥹

Who are you looking forward to watching?

(Personally, Eli Raridon)

[Pats With Pete @PatsWithPete]

@FBallAnalysisYT Sorry to hear that man. Will continue to report any I see!
