@schwantzunicorn Same as YouTube, same as everywhere. Small accounts, small businesses and creators get set aside, pushing the big ones, who bring profit FAST!

Or: Push narratives that can then even be tweaked into the direction that the owners would like to push. My theory. 😭

It seems that nowadays, X spreads your post to about 100 people at first, and if it doesn't get much engagement there, the reach is basically over 📈
Since my account focuses on a niche, core topic, this change probably won't affect me much.
But I do wonder—who actually benefits from this new system? 🤔

It might be too early to jump to conclusions... but judging from the results of several experiments, there's zero numerical evidence to support the "720p recommendation."
As usual, impressions stayed right around average, so reach didn't increase, there's no sign of new followers coming in, and the vast majority of likes came from my regular followers who always support me.
For all the complicated talk about algorithms, why is there absolutely no measurable impact in the numbers? 🤔
