A women says I normally never make posts like this but felt like this needed to be shared. I was getting gas today on Central avenue in Hot springs. When the gentleman next to me asked what my gas prices were. I told him it was 3.41 a gallon and he said that is what his told him too. But he had already spent $7 and only had a gallon and a half to show. So I looked at mine after I got done filling it up and it showed I put 17.2 gallons in it and I owed $73. Doing the math I found out not only were they wrong on the gas price but they had overcharged me by $14.
This post is just to bring caution when you are at the gas pumps. No telling how many people overpaid today and have no idea. I was blessed with a guy next to me that helped me figure it out. I have never checked my gallon to price ratio but I will from now on. They did give me my money back and I gave it to the guy next to me for his gas tank. Please do the math while you're there and save yourself from throwing away your money. Money is too hard to come around!
