I'm not a coder. I'm a trader!
But... I built an automated system that ranks cash-secured put (CSP) candidates; pulling live options data, fundamentals, technicals & growth trends. Then, scores them into a clean dashboard.
Here's exactly how I did it (with Claude's help) π§΅
Market Posture shift to Neutral from Cautious.
"Mixed internals, no clear edge. Trade lighter, be nimble both ways, let the tape resolve before committing."
@MarionSooon That's certainly how it starts, especially in current market conditions. If I build cushion & the market starts to follow through with strong breadth, then it may turn into a swing. Gain 20%+ over a few days & I may turn it into a position (if the fundamentals are super strong).
Great question... it's a starting point. Full answer is more complex and in the replies.
Remember: Market Posture defines my overall risk tolerance. Currently, that's not allowing more than a day trade outside of selling premium. Minimum overnight exposure lately, in general.
If you prefer, here's a video of me discussing the Velocity Scan roughly 3+ years ago. Different platform with Claude now at the helm, but same process.

Velocity Scan for Thursday, 10/15. Top 20. π
$AMN new highs (recall... $AMN was the only name from yesterday's drubbing). Repeat offenders $CBLL $CBRL tack on more gains into new relative highs. $CROX $CPAY wedge pops. $APPN biggest mover; 2 cents away from a breakout. π
@Codertrader24 Hey! I start here within TOS. This narrows down the list to something manageable for Claude but was still 222 names today (a good day is around 50). Today was exceptional. Stand by and I'll let Claude explain the rest of the process...
@1MillionSprint Not nearly enough for my liking but I did go out to November, so I at least have plenty of time. I also don't mind owning around this $60 level.
Again, the CSP scanner is really thin with only $PENG and the $EWZ Brazil ETF populating today. I did grab $PENG premium on the dip yesterday, which looked like a steal... right up until today ($61.20 b/e). π

The Velocity Scan is a beast tonight with over 40 names. π₯ Claude has some sorting to do & then I'll post, but I want to mention a name we've been tracking... $VNCE. Another monster day up 12%+ but just missed the rel vol threshold & only pennies away from a new 52wk high. π
I'm holding off on $NQ Noon Curve again, for now. Tracking, but not participating. Ideally, I'll bring it back when positive gamma returns. It's a simple on/off switch. π
$NQ $ES Closing Debrief.
*Regime/RTH plan -> Levels map -> IB/ORB Checkpoint -> Closing Debrief... fully automated futures trading system. I can't make it any easier. Rinse & repeat.
It really can be as simple as the IB low forms 1st, so target the IB high with a stop at one of the quarters.
... or as complicated as wait for the ORB breakout/breakdown and take off half at the Asia/London unmitigated level, take off the rest at the PDH/PDL or 50% extension of the range if no unmitigated levels. Stop at the 1st FVG or opposite end of the range with a time stop at noon.
I have different variations of all of these and not only for NY but also for Globex, Asia & London sessions. There's no limit to how far you can take it. It's a lot of work to get it right, but once you do it's definitely worth it.
