You don’t need to qualify it. You don’t need to lay out the circumstances for what you believe an “acceptable” abortion looks like. Anti-abortion lawmakers want you to feel shame talking about abortion. There’s nothing be ashamed of.
If you hear someone praising you for “never complaining” please get mad. Please take up space. This is your life, not a pageant. Complain. Even if you can only whisper “this hurts me”. Complain.
