@terrychristian I'm quite enjoying watching them start off all arrogant and full of BS then quietly assassinated by their own words and actions/inactions by the brilliant Hugo Keith KC and team. Hopefully this will lead to prosecutions in the future

My own experience is that having your own room and smiling services is all very well. However, when you've been referred to a private hospital by your GP for a gall bladder removal you expect to be seen quite quickly because it's a private hospital. My operation was postponed several times, however. Eventually, I went into the theatre only to be woken up later to be told the operation didn't go ahead because the private hospital didn't have the backup facilities of an NHS general hospital. To add insult to injury, I was told that I would have to be referred to the NHS general hospital where I would be operated on by the same surgeon who failed to operate at the private facility. This is frankly taking the p*ss. I assume the private hospital charged the NHS heavily for my 'care' during what I must regard as a fiasco. I doubt if the NHS will be able to recoup its money for failed service? I would have much preferred to be treated by the NHS in the first place, but since the referral had already been arranged, I trotted sheep-like on the path set for me. A mistake I will never make again. Something else that really grates, as I've already said, is that the surgeon who failed to perform at the private hospital will now be operating on me on behalf of the NHS at the general hospital. I have no doubt as to the surgeon's skill, but I am obliged to question the whole ethical setup that can insert private healthcare into what was once the envy of the world. Anyone who says private healthcare is more efficient is not reading the runes.
Matt Hancock behaving like a very spoilt and entitled toddler. Not happy at being questioned. Arrogant and defensive. And it was every other departments fault dumping on the DHSC. It was a health emergency you pratπ
