Patuka Press won a Cultural Award last night for best educational project. We are grateful to everyone who voted for us and to all those local writers who have supported us by sending poems, stories and essays over the last two years.
NEW PATUKA OUT SOON
We’ve just finished formatting the fifth Patuka edition. It should be on sale in Gib and online at the end of November / beginning of December.
“When it comes to selecting texts for reading and discussion, Professor Habermann says she has found the Patuka Press Pamphlets very helpful and will discuss with her students excerpts from Llanito, The Upper Town and Borders and Boundaries.”

Hi! Patuka Press is issuing a final call for submissions for its next publication on the theme of ‘The Upper Town’.
The deadline for submissions is 15th October, 2024; the pamphlet will (hopefully!) be released before Christmas.
Submissions must be no longer than 5,000 words.
They can be in English, Spanish or Llanito. Fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry submissions will be accepted but works must be previously unpublished.
