@walkerovboro @BBCMOTD I agree, but this independent panel has now backed the EFL into a corner on all future breaches of league rules which support a sporting advantage. After the Leeds case, expulsion should have been the mandate for all future breaches.

@pipBrouhaha @BBCMOTD I agree, it’s like being caught shoplifting and sent down for life. Chelsea spent a decade financially doping yet they have not been expelled. As a Saints fan myself I find the sanctions disproportionate, however the ruling in my opinion has backed the EFL into corner!!!!

@noreasonspec @fennamush @BBCSport @BBCMOTD Straw man here, so Nottingham forest broke FFP rules a few years ago during their first season back in the PL and brought a number of players who they shouldn’t have been allowed to have sign, I wonder how many of those players across the season made contributions?!!!

@GBNEWS Depends on the negotiation of terms to rejoin. I dealt a 2nd referendum would be held/put to public on terms for greater integration and more Brussels, accepting a position of free movement with unlimited social benefits etc plus commitments to join the Euro currency.

@AlfieHouseEcho To steal a quote from elsewhere, expulsion doesn’t really cover the crime. It’s like being sent down for life because you were caught shoplifting, it’s wrong but an incredibly high bar for an independent commission to set as a standard for breaking league rules.
