A panda is not a martyr. It is a species on life support: fed, filmed, protected, unable to hunt, to breed, to stand alone. It was not destroyed. It was managed. The protection produced the incapacity. Sometimes the mother crushes the cub — not from doctrine, from incompetence. The cub lives if a human pulls it out and puts it under a lamp.

That is the mechanism. A rich society stops reading hardship as information. Discomfort becomes an offense. Institutions are built to remove it. Each avoidance confirms the danger and justifies the next enclosure. The word “good” changes meaning: it no longer means what makes you able; it means what spares you. The hard things — birth, a difficult class, a border, a trade that can break you, a rite, a master — are outsourced to the State, the screen, the protocol. The center of the society becomes a spectator of its own survival. Fear ceases to be a signal and becomes a veto. Reproduction falls; the missing children are booked as extra comfort. What remains of the sacred is cute. The part that makes you tremble has been deleted.

France is not worse by essence. It is further along. The State as enclosure, the child as a risk to manage, the rite as suspect, fear as a pathology: the rest of the West is in the same corridor.

Read every news item with four questions. Did they remove the object, or train the use? Did they turn a symptom into a perk? Is fear a signal or a veto? Who still carries the hard thing — and who only films it? Both camps pandaize. One forbids without forming. The other “accompanies” without confronting.

It does not stop with a speech, and it is not too late. Fatalism is already panda: film the end, call it lucidity. The opposite is not optimism. It is a trial crossed on purpose, with others. Demand with a name.

Consequence with a face. A pack, not a protocol. At home and at school: teach the use before you confiscate the object; treat an emotion as information, not as proof of assault. In the city: stop converting decline into square meters of comfort. Demography is a verdict, not a wellness budget. Put back the bodies that used to carry people through an ordeal — workshop, regiment, parish, club, craft. The State-panda replaced them. That is why the cub is alone with a tired adult and a lamp.

Two kinds of hard. The one that transforms: it frightens you, and you go anyway. The one that destroys: you flee it or you undergo it. If a measure produces only comfort or only terror, it is not the lever.

The panda is managed. The dhole faces.

Cette dame s'est fait voler son entreprise par un type qui a simplement créé des faux documents (pv d'assemblée générale, lettre de démission) envoyés au Greffe de Nanterre qui a aucun moment n'a trouvé pertinent de vérifier l'identité du demandeur. 😨 Bienvenue en France 🇫🇷

1) If he’s arrested due to wearing a face covering - then it’s now illegal to wear a Burka/Niqab

2) If he’s arrested for “Islamophobia” because he was wearing a burka but not being Muslim, then we have back-door blasphemy laws on freedom of expression.

Either way. Things are going to get very, very interesting.
