๐ญ Here to share my love and thoughts on my favourite characters and movies, especially Superheroes
๐พMy dogs are my heroes and animals deserve protection๐ก๏ธ๐บ
My favourite Doctor Doom panel appeared in Doctor Doom #7, released in September 2020, which was written by Christopher Cantwell and drawn by Salvador Larroca.
In the panel, Doom is riding Novak, his brown bear, through the Latverian winter, and the speech bubble simply says: "I have returned."
Since @RobertDowneyJr is back in the MCU, I imagined him appearing on the red carpet at the world premier of 'Avengers: Doomsday', riding a Brown Bear๐
So, @MarvelStudios, make it happen!!!
But please, don't use a real bearโ๏ธ๐ป
Thor and Hulk in Ragnarok are killing me every time. And Sam has some very funny moments in Civil War.
Overall the funniest character to me is probably Scott Lang
Vibranium is everywhere in the MCU
Black Pantherโs suit. Capโs shield. Sentryโs suit. Namorโs weapons. Samโs wings. Vision and Ultronโs bodies. Buckyโs arm.
But which Vibranium item is your favorite? ๐ค
@Pau_Watani Hes supposed to be back. Not sure how true yet at this moment. But have an inside source who says it could happen. I personally hope he does return. Cause that series was legit. And what he brought to the character was phenomenal
@SpoiledRotten79 That would be great. After Daredevil, Moon Knight is my favourite MCU series. I once walked through Budapest for two days to visit the locations they used lol
I donโt know what Marvel/Disney planned or didnโt plan to do, but Oscar Isaac made it clear last year he wasnโt gonna work for Disney unless they learned to โnot succumb to fascism,โ after ABC temporarily suspended Jimmy Kimmel.
MARVEL MAY HAVE WASTED ONE OF ITS MOST INTERESTING CHARACTERS
He had the powers, the mystery, the multiple personalities, and Oscar Isaac bringing him to life. Yet Marvel barely used him after his debut.
With the MCU expanding into darker and supernatural stories, Moon Knight couldโve been one of Marvelโs biggest wild cards.
WE REALLY DONโT GIVE MCU MAKEUP ARTISTS ENOUGH CREDIT.
BRIAN SIPE didnโt just put Dave Bautista in red paint and call him Drax.
5 hours of 18 individual prosthetics glued to his body every morning... and sitting in a portable sauna at 2 AM after shooting just to melt the paint off his raw skin.
The artists absolutely COOKED with Drax
I doubt thereโs any character with the most brutal makeup transformation in film history and Drax.
The Bifrost teleports Thor wherever he needs to be, without him having to know the actual location. In Infinity War, he probably asked to be teleported wherever the battle on Earth was taking place, and the Bifrost took him right to the centre of the Battle of Wakanda.
I wouldn't expect the Bifrost to be stopped by an energy shield because it is extremely powerful, but also because it teleports Thor and he doesn't travel with it in his physical form meaning he can't actually crash into a wall or shield or wall.
Another thing is that actually the energy shield in Wakanda wasn't that solid. The Outriders were penetrating it at the same spots repeatedly. First, their bodies were burned and severed by the shield, but the more of them tried to push through, the less the shield was able to recover and eventually, the Outriders made it through alive.
@Dalo_KvnG Nah, heโs more than that. Otherwise he wouldnโt have been able to hold up the way he did against the Red Hulk. I wouldnโt count him in my MCU Big 3 at all. But if Iโm building a team, Iโd always consider him.
In my opinion, Eternals wasn't a bad movie, but it was boring as hell and, the more time passes, the more pointless it becomes. It took them 4 years to pick up on a Celestial sticking out the ocean!
Normally, I appreciate movies more once I watch the Making Of, but that didn't happen in case of Eternals either. They just kept saying how special the movie was and that it had never been done before.
In retrospect, Eternals to me would have made more sense, if they had shown their work on earth through past centuries or millennia and/or put them in a different universe.
It remains my least favourite MCU project by quite a wide margin. It's the only MCU movie I only re-watched once after it was released on DVD or on Disney+
In the MCU, Stormbreaker is more powerful than Mjรถlnir. Before Eitri forged it, he said that Stormbreaker: "... is a King's weapon, meant to be the greatest in Asgard."
It can also summon the Bifrost, which Mjรถlnir can't. One big difference in the MCU is that, due to Odin's enchantment, Mjรถlnir could only be wielded by someone deemed worthy, while Stormbreaker was picked up by numerous characters, including Thanos and Gorr.
In the comics, as I understand, Mjรถlnir and Stormbreaker are equally powerful. When Thor encountered Beta Ray Bill for the first time, Bill was able to wield Mjรถlnir, and I think he was the first one outside of Odin and Thor to do that.
Because Bill was worthy, Odin asked the dwarfs of Nidavellir to forge a weapon equally strong as Mjรถlnir, for Beta Ray Bill.
The car wasn't enchanted when Arthur Weasley got it. He loved to explore Muggle devices and he took the car apart to study it before he started to enhance it.
Technically, it was illegal to enchant the car, as that was the case with all Muggle Artifacts, which made Ron's and Harry's adventure even more problematic, in addition to the fact that they were seen by several Muggles.
That would have been possible, but Thanos was still on Titan when Thor arrived.
Another option could be that he asked to be teleported as closely to the location of the Mind Stone as possible.
It seems Thanos and even the Black Order always knew where to go for the Infinity Stones. If they could do that, the Bifrost could probably do that as well.
This narrative has also come up on my TL a few times.
At that point in the battle, Cap and Thor have been fighting for more than 20 minutes.
Then, within seconds of Carol attacking Thanos, he just grabs her by the arm and tosses her away like a baseball.
Her fight with Thanos very short and she wouldn't be able to fight with that much energy for a longer period.
ITโS VERY FUNNY HOW CAPTAIN MARVEL COULD WITHSTAND THANOS ALL BY HERSELF, BUT BOTH THOR AND CAPTAIN AMERICA COULDNโT TAKE HIM DOWN, EVEN WITH MJOLNIR AND THE STORMBREAKER AXE๐คฃ
