It was lovely to be recognised by @SCASeducation after an Apprentice ECA, from @SCAS999 wrote a thank you letter following the support and commitment I gave during their development. #Proud#PracticeEducator
@LJ_Thompson20@RCNNRN Definitely! I started as an NQN in ED and it definitely took me a while to feel comfortable, particularly with the lack of routine as you never really know what’s coming in next. If you can get to grips with that bit then the rest should fall into place.
URGENT! Pls share. The last chance to register to vote in the General Election is 11.59pm tomorrow Tue 18 June. Potentially 8m aren't registered at their current address. Here's 4 key facts...
1) You can do it online here https://t.co/i4FhJoAXfK
2) It's good for your finances. Not being on electoral roll can make it more difficult to be accepted for credit products like bank accounts or mortgages.
3) You can opt out of the 'Open Register' (which allows your info to be sold on) which will stop you getting junk mail marketing )
4) You'll need ID when you do vote (not to register) if you don't have it, you can get it free until Wed 26 June https://t.co/9bfL3hw3CV
With so much public media constantly pushing “don’t call 999” and “ambulance services are busy” … I think it’s important to promote that the emergency services ARE there for you and when you SHOULD call for help 👍🏻 #999forEmergencies
@DonnchadhaD 100% agree with this. The logistics of it with trusts can be a bit of a challenge though. Always manage to get my students out with the ambulance service during their time with us in ED. It’s such an important part of the patient journey that brings the patient into us.
@gardner_bea @brionytheliony When they come down to ED to help us with critical patients they always watch us cannulate too! The stress of being watched do a cannula, have definitely failed some easy ones being watched 😭💔
Whilst I’m here! If anyone would like to donate to Louise’s fundraising efforts you can find the link here https://t.co/KdKbtG7JuI
Your donations will go towards continuing the work of St John in giving people the skills to step forward in the moments that matter!
The Health Secretary knows just how strong NHS nurses are together so he’s threatening them with legal action to prevent them fighting against real terms pay cuts.
Please RT if this has only strengthened your support for nurses.
