@cjlines@guynsmith Such a fine tribute, we share so much DNA where Guy is concerned. I don't know if you remember but we met at one of the Conventions? There was a copy of 'Crabs: The Human Sacrifice' in the auction. I sent you a spare I had so you didn't have to bid on it!
@sixfeetofficial @OwenExplosion Really enjoying the new SFU album, Nightmares of the Decomposed. Brutal cover & there are some great grooves. Bass on 'Blood of the Zombie' is epic & great solo kicking in on Labyrinth of Insanity. Hope it does well for you.
@TheInn3rS4nctum Very biased questions. Past papers in the SPR Journal on specific cases have been very useful to my research, but in your poll I can't answer that as I'm currently not a member, and answering 'I'm not a member' gives a negative implication.
@AndyTay88724401 Hi, Andy. Yes, I agree they would have noticed someone climbing up & taken another photo. Ian Wilson does a debunking exercise in his 'In Search of Ghosts' & suggests it's one of the Queens House staff. He cites evidence but couldn't publish due to Ghost Club politics at the time
@Para_Mystery Normally ABEBooks is the best place but there a no copies on there at the moment. I thought it was going to be republished a while back but assume it didn't happen.
#Paranormal Book of the Day No.72 - 'The Demonic Connection' by Toyne Newton (1987). Original investigation into unexplained happenings in the Clapham Wood & Chanctonbury Ring areas of West Sussex.
@tonyiommi#AskIommi Hi, Tony. I remember you talking about the making of one Black Sab album where some unusual things (possibly ghostly) happened where you were staying/recording. I've been interested in the paranormal for a long time & would be interested to hear about your experiences.
@TheInn3rS4nctum @AlexandraHolzer@GhostClub1862 In this instance I think it was a case of pride comes before a fall and he wouldn't accept any kind of criticism. He was also speaking for a very reduced fee (he initially wanted $500) which may have soured things. The GC did ask him back in 1969 but he turned them down flat.
@TheInn3rS4nctum @AlexandraHolzer Make sure you include the scene where he storms out of a @GhostClub1862 meeting in London in 1965 after a member of the audience criticised one of his ghost photographs.
@SaxonOfficial Played this one to death after I picked it up from my local Woolworths. Just found Saxon through WOS and then this one arrives. Fantastic live album - "You're not gettin' tired are ya?!"
@OwenExplosion Hey, Jack. I've been watching the Centuries of Torment DVD today. Fantastic documentary. I'd be interested to know where the haunted house is that you mention where you wrote The Bleeding album. I've been interested in the paranormal for many years. Keep safe.
My favourite Saxon album. At secondary school in 1983 we were waiting for this one. Great guitar tones - I read a piece in a guitar magazine a long time ago that the amps were miked up inside wooden crates to get the sound. Eagle Has Landed is a classic.
37 Years young today - The Mighty Saxon's "Power & The Glory"
Here is the classic track "The Eagle Has Landed" live from 1983.
