Bassem Youssef doesn’t see the Druze — he only sees Gaza. Defending the Druze would cost him followers and money, so of course, he sticks to what’s popular while lecturing the West on morality. @Byoussef
Islamic texts make false claims about Christianity, yet most Muslims do not verify these claims and simply accept them as truth. Here are a few key examples:
1.Islam teaches that the Gospel (Injil) is a book revealed by God to Jesus through the angel Gabriel. In reality, the Gospel refers to the good news about Jesus—His life, death, and resurrection—not a book revealed directly to Him.
2.Islam claims that Christians worship three gods: God, Mary, and Jesus. This is a misunderstanding. Christians believe in one God: the Father, who has a Word (the Son) and a Spirit—united in the Trinity.
3.Islam teaches that Jesus did not die on the cross, but that someone else was made to look like Him and was crucified in His place. However, the Qur’an offers no clear details or proof for this claim, while Christians have multiple Gospel accounts and external historical sources that affirm Jesus’ crucifixion.
4.Islam asserts that Jesus was sent only to the Jewish people. In contrast, the Gospels clearly show that Jesus came for the whole world—for Jews and Gentiles alike.
5.Islam claims that Jesus prophesied the coming of Muhammad as a prophet after Him. Yet no Christian ever awaited a prophet after Jesus, and there is no mention of Muhammad in the Gospels.
