To do real shadow work, you must choose to heal. You must choose to explore your unconscious. You must choose to do the work of freeing yourself and not waiting for some magic pill, drug, biohacking, or rescuer to come save you.
True shadow work is never done. It's a lifetime process because each new encounter with people, places and things opens up new dimensions of ourselves and creates new opportunities for judgments that separate us from any apparent other.
The shadow is not a defect to be eliminated. It is a structural feature of any individuated psyche, a necessary, often protective, often creative aspect of a finite human consciousness.
Shadow work is not about making the shadow smaller. It's about making the consciousness that holds it larger.

The soul can only be satiated by what it is. That's why all the sex, all the drugs, all the money, all the material things will never get you there.
The only thing that feeds the soul is love. That's what the soul is. That's what GOD is. And until you understand that, you'll keep chasing things that can never give you what you're actually looking for.

When you kill diversity in nature, you kill nature. The same thing happens in a culture when you start censoring speech. You lose individuality. You lose freedom. You lose free will.

Most parents operate from an assumption they've never even questioned... that they own their child. Like a possession. So the programming begins early. You're going to have a job like a doctor or a lawyer. You're going to be religious, the way we're religious. You're going to raise your children the way we raised you. You're going to live the life we mapped out for you. And anything outside of that? Unacceptable.
But here's the deeper truth⦠no parent provides the soul that's in the body they give birth to. They provide the body. They provide the time, the location, the family, the society, and the culture that is ideal for that soul to continue its developmental work. That's it. The soul arrived with its own agenda.
And that soul is extremely unique.β¨
Your soul is not your parents. Your soul came here with its own agenda. Stop funding someone else's dream of how you should be living your life. It's not taking you anywhere.

Most people are training their abs in a way that's destroying their posture, and they don't even know it.
When you flex your abdominals, you create a flexor moment against your spin, and your head drops forward, your shoulder girdle rounds, and your pelvis shifts to compensate. And if you're crunching without counterbalancing with extension work, you're locking that pattern in.
This is just one piece of the puzzle. In Abdominal Tone Essentials, I walk you through breathing, organ tone, and how to actually train your core the way nature intended.

What if the system you were handed was never built for your potential in the first place? Go to school. Get good grades. Find a stable job. Retire at 65. That's the plan, right?
Victor and Robyn Robledo looked at that plan and said no thanks.
In Episode 395, I sat down with Victor and Robyn Robledo, a family that ditched the rat race and never looked back. Three of their five kids had zero formal education. No math classes, no grammar drills, no history lessons. And one of their daughters is making nearly six figures at 22, doing what she's passionate about.
They didn't push their kids; they freed them. They let them find their passion, trusted them to figure it out, and got out of the way.

When you get to the edge of the forest, and you see a trail in front of you, do not take it. That trail was cut by someone else. It leads to someone else's destination. If you take it, you are living someone else's life, and that is not why you are here.
You have to cut your own trail through the woods and become an individual. Stand up and accept full responsibility for yourself and for your reality. Own your choices. Own your direction. Own your life.
You are here for a reason, and only you can fulfill it.

The connection between suffering and insight is that suffering is often the doorway to insight. A lot of ignorance leads to suffering. So if we're not paying attention to what led to the suffering, then we don't do the inner work necessary to see where it was that we were ignorant or acting on incomplete information, emotion, or fear. The PainTeacher hangs around until you've gained the insight and made the changes necessary to stop creating the life you don't want.

Whenever you change your story, you've affected every life that story touches. Your partner. Your children. Your friends. Your work. You change all the people your story touches, they touch, and that ripples around the world.
This is the cycle of life. Child. Warrior. King. Wise Man. If you're disciplined enough and fortunate enough to find the right mentors, you might make it to the king stage. But the ones who truly mature are the ones brave enough to ask... Who am I really? Where did I come from? Where will I go when I die? That's where the real journey begins.

Memorization of other people's facts is not thinking, it's memorization. Real thinking is how do I come up with novel solutions to problems that are hard to solve?
What if the most dangerous thing about AI isn't that it will destroy us but that we're already falling in love with it?
Today's guest is Elizabeth Eowyn Nelson, a depth psychologist, author, and one of the sharpest minds navigating the intersection of technology and the human soul. She spent 18 years in Silicon Valley before leaving to study depth psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
She has spent over a decade studying the psychological and somatic impact of mobile digital technology. Her research draws on depth psychology, phenomenology, and the somatic sciences β fields that examine not just behavior, but the interior world of the person: their felt sense, their body-based awareness, their relationship to the unconscious.
In this conversation, we go places that no one is talking about yet. We explore what technology actually is and why your phone and the Bible have more in common than you'd expect. We look at what makes us human, what a machine truly is, and at how LLMs simulate subjectivity β and why that simulation is precisely what makes them psychologically dangerous. And we ask the question that should keep all of us up at night: are we already projecting our souls onto our devices, and are those devices starting to possess us?

Most people have almost no knowledge of the words they're using. Every word you say, even if you don't know what it means, is causing a vibration and creating a change in the entire universe. The words you use carry the energy of your intention. If your intention is to live and love fully, and to learn and grow, then start by understanding the words you use. That is how we grow together, heal together, and make this world something beautiful.

Change your story. Change the world. It sounds simple, but most people underestimate how far their healing actually reaches. Your wounds affect everyone around you. And your healing does too.

Ignorance is not bliss. Living out of your center takes a lot of time and energy away from you. It usually leads to problematic relationships, addictions, burnout, and breakdown.
