Genuinely amazes me how you can change the manager, change the players, change absolutely everything on the pitch ... and yet Millwall will consistently, year on year, be a team full of complete cunts. Have to respect it really.
@retrofootballnw Kasey Keller, and 30+ years later he remains the best goalkeeper I've seen in a Millwall shirt.
Around the same time we had Etienne Verveer, a fantastic Dutch midfielder who it still amazes me dropped completely off the radar after leaving us.
@MillwallFC Greatest in terms of impact because of what he did as both player and then manager then it's Neil Harris
Best player though, Ted, by a distance
@NTT20Pod@AliMaxwell_@maxrushden The context to "This is Millwall football club", is he's trying to say lose 3 of your best players and remember this is MFC, not one of the bigger resourced clubs who might have the squad depth to cope with it better
@NTT20Pod The one that immediately springs to mind is Gascoigne threading one through to Lineker, extra time against Cameroon at Italia 90, leading to the 2nd pen. Or Scholes to Wright with a bit of backspin on at Le Tournoi
