@hawkblogger There was a slow crash. Wasn't as bad as 92-97 era, but his Max Unger trade unraveled a would-be dynasty, ending with Pete's sad firing. A genius would've been able to maintain and build on what the Hawks had in 2014. Any GM could've traded stars to build back. 0 credit to JS

@johnmyles68 @historyrock_ I agree to them not being as socially critical. But depth? Subjective. I hear musical depth. These guys weren't used to being the primary lyricists. Both iterations since Syd went through periods where the lyrics weren't astounding, even when RW became the prime lyricist.

@johnmyles68 @historyrock_ Syd PF didn't have socially poignant lyrics either by the way. If one were to say after RW, Floyd sounded less socially conscious, I would agree with that. The direction went toward emotion lyrically and musically. RW Floyd was emotional, but bleak. I like that era too tho.

@johnmyles68 @historyrock_ And some people think Floyd died after Syd Barrett. Whether Syd led, RW led, DG led, all 3 eras had a different greatness. The glue that held all together was Richard Wright. The Wall and Final Cut are great albums, but more like RW solo than Pink Floyd IMO.

@MikeDugar Sick of the narrative RS is pushing here. LOB already gelled in 2011 with Lynch, without RW. Record, 7-9, missed the playoffs. Those Super Bowl teams were only possible with the addition of RW. RW record without LOB in Seattle, 10-6, 11-5, 12-4, then an injury in 2021.

@acnewsitics I think the flip is because Ukraine is going to win and taco is trying to climb on the Ukraine bandwagon. Russia's economy is facing a recession, if they don't withdraw. If Russia withdraws, watch taco try to take credit for it.
