With less than 2 months until the real thing is here, I thought I’d put out my first real mock draft of the MLB Draft cycle. Contains a mix of team draft history and my favorite fits to find a home for baseballs best draft prospects. Check it out!🙏🏻

I’m bullish on Lile being a great hitter, but he’s far from a replacement level player:
-82nd percentile OAA
-93rd percentile sprint speed
-Career .341 wOBA and .337 xwOBA
Very Adam Eaton like dare I say, not a franchise cornerstone, but a guy you need if you want to win
@NatsOfTheFuture@starsstrikesbb I disagree. Daylen Lile is replacement level. His production can be found anywhere in the minor leagues. There is no reason to extend him.
@MaxHudsonVOL They’re working with more data than us so I wanna believe Tena for Young was backed in some kind of numbers, but doing so when you don’t have an extra OF and Young is hitting well seems silly. Also Mikolas starting the 9th was bad
@erom_mo I should’ve clipped it, he basically verbatim said this and also messed up that the Padres loss was actually by 2, he fixed it a few seconds later and I like to imagine its cause he opened the comments and saw my fix lmao
Since losing to the Orioles 7-3 on May 17th, the Nationals have either won, been tied in the final inning, or had the tying run on base to end the game in of all of their games. You can beat this club, but they don’t go down easy, and that’s all you can ask for #WhyNotNats
