Good to hear: "the city has plans to narrow travel lanes to reduce driving speeds and repurpose excess space to better accommodate pedestrians, cyclists and transit users". https://t.co/reh7Vzj7nt
@Blake35390227 The app uses Mapbox Directions API for cycling. Mapbox. You just open up the Directions control and click or enter your origin and destination and you'll get a route. @Mapbox is a significant contributor to @OpenStreetMaps and I assume routes draw from OSM cycleway data.
The Augusta protected bike lane from Milwaukee to Western is just about finished. Only a couple of areas blocked off and some stretches without the concrete barriers. Very nice. #bikechi

My kids love to ride their bikes on the 606 but we don't have a safe way to get to the 606. I know you have miles of low-stress bike routes planned @ChicagoDOT , but could you please add a 1.5 mile Hamlin Neighborhood Greenway, Milwaukee to the 606 to your plan? @35th_Ward?
The Kedzie protected bike lane, Diversey-Elston is complete; the Wellington greenway, Kedzie-Kimball is done; the Central Park bike lane, Fullerton-Armitage is done; the Armitage bike lane, Kedzie-Milwaukee is done. Is Augusta plb, Western-Elston done yet? Any others?
How does one nudge the generally unresponsive @ChicagoDOT to update the status of their 2023 Bikeway Installations at

I found a few to be complete, but they still have a status of "Upcoming" on their Google Sheet.
#UrbanFlooding doesn't just impact property, it affects people. Communities of color in particular are hit harder by the effects.
