@RAC_Care i have reported a break down to my 6 month old Chery Tiggo 8 summit @cherycars_uk @AllenMotorGroup . I explained I needed a diagnostic check and that I was leaving tomorrow to stay in a hotel in Rennes before sailing home Sunday from Caen to Portsmouth. I am travelling with wife and disabled daughter who has medical requirements and medication which we will run out of Sunday night. Your team sent a driver who wanted to take my car away and confirmed that the car would not be looked at until Monday. This clearly wasn't going to work for us. I have spent most of today talking to the dealer I bought the car from, Chery Warranty department and RAC international and have got no further. I have now been told I have to hire a car myself in France to get me back to the UK, and that they can guarantee they will repatriate my vehicle. I expected better from all of these organisations and will take very strong action on my return to the UK, whenever that is, and will seek considerable damages as you have broken UK consumer law.
