@louiseadler @40dargus @Milliganreports I'll just add that it wasn't relentless haggling over compensation. It was extreme psychological harm achieved through manipulation and lies to ensure minimal financial and reputational damage to the Church. Negotiation was not an option.

@KKeneally And similar story for my fiancee who lost her father in the UK and can't visit to see him off, nor visit her almost 90 mother.

My anger is tempered by the belief it really was on the way (more or less) to where he was going, but not negated.

@KKeneally I should be angrier given I've lost Mum & Dad this last year, both through Victoria's Voluntary Assisted Dying program (thanks Vic), and still not been able to celebrate their lives due to me being Sydney based (3 July booked but looking iffy😐), but I think I'm numb to Scomos MO
