@Bagodictionary@aholl45@CinemaTweets1 Every single director you listed besides Tarantino did their best work in the first half of their career. I mean to each his own—you can prefer their later stuff—but that is not the consensus for any of these guys. And lol Spielberg came out swinging w Jaws and CEotTK get real
@aholl45@CinemaTweets1 100%. This is always the argument. You say "directors invariably lose their touch" & they go SCORSESE!! Which, even if you somehow think that the stuff he makes now is on par w Taxi Driver/Raging Bull, the poster child for "aging gracefully" has AT BEST only lost *a little* edge
@BruceIronsNFL He is fine. Destined to be somewhere between 15th-best and 5th-best QB in the league for the next decade. Let's not pretend he's as good as our last two guys. Cmon man.
@Sy_Worthington@Moneyline_Mac That I can agree with. The decision itself I don't think was disastrous but IDK what Payton was thinking with some of his OT decisions.
@fsupete01@Moneyline_Mac Yes but odds of winning *or tying* were over 48%. And, again, a tie was practically a win in terms of playoffs. I'm not saying it's a no-brainer but definitely not a stupid decision IMO
