কলেজ স্কোয়ারের দুর্গাপুজোর সভাপতি আমি হচ্ছি না। শুধু কলেজ স্কোয়ার নয়, রাজ্যের কোনও দুর্গাপুজোর সভাপতি আমি হব না, কিংবা কোনও পুজোর পরিচালনার দায়িত্ব নেব না।

একজন বিধায়ক বা মন্ত্রী নিজের এলাকার কোনও পুজো কমিটির সভাপতি হতে পারেন—সেটা তাঁদের নিজস্ব সিদ্ধান্ত। কিন্তু তার অর্থ এই নয় যে, রাস্তায় বেরিয়ে একের পর এক পুজোর দায়িত্ব রাজনৈতিক ব্যক্তি, বিধায়ক, সাংসদ বা রাজনৈতিক দলের নেতারা নিজেদের হাতে তুলে নেবেন।

দুর্গাপুজো সর্বজনের, কোনও রাজনৈতিক দলের নয়।

পুজো কমিটিগুলির স্বাধীনতা, স্বতন্ত্রতা এবং সর্বজনীন চরিত্র অক্ষুণ্ণ থাকুক—এই বিশ্বাস থেকেই আমাদের এই সিদ্ধান্ত। উৎসবের আনন্দ মানুষের হাতে থাকুক, রাজনীতির দখলে নয়।

12 Years of Seva, Development and Nation Building

On this day, 9th June 2024, a new chapter in India's journey began with the swearing-in of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji for a historic third consecutive term. It was not merely the beginning of Modi 3.0, but a reaffirmation of the trust and aspirations of 140 crore Indians.

Over the past twelve years, India has witnessed transformative changes across every sector. From strengthening infrastructure and connectivity to empowering the poor through welfare schemes, from enhancing India's global standing to accelerating digital transformation, the guiding principle has remained clear — Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, governance has become more transparent, accountable, and citizen-centric. Millions have gained access to housing, electricity, clean drinking water, healthcare, banking facilities, and social security. India's rise as a global economic and strategic power has filled every Indian with pride and confidence.

The journey has not merely been about policies and programmes; it has been about touching lives, creating opportunities, and fulfilling aspirations. It has been about ensuring that development reaches the last person standing in the queue.

Today in New Delhi, I had highly productive meetings with Hon'ble Union Ministers to accelerate West Bengal's development journey, aligning with the vision of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, and delivering long-awaited benefits directly to the people of West Bengal.

Healthcare Revolution: West Bengal Joins Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.
A historic milestone has been achieved. The National Health Authority (NHA) has officially signed an MoU with the Government of West Bengal. The event was graced by Hon'ble Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare; Shri @JPNadda Ji.
By joining the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY scheme, every eligible family in West Bengal will now have access to top-tier, cashless healthcare across the country.

Transforming Rural Bengal: Met with Hon'ble Union for Agriculture, Farmers' Welfare and Rural Development; Shri @ChouhanShivraj Ji. The Vikshit Bharat - G Ram G Yojana will be implemented in West Bengal very soon, which will promote rural employment. Furthermore, to ensure rural development doesn't halt for a single day, the Union Ministry will be immediately approving the required funds and man-days. A scientific roadmap will be created to give a new impetus to our villages, farming, and farmers.

Boosting Economy & Financial Inclusion: Had an extensive discussion with the Hon'ble Finance Minister Smt. @nsitharaman Ji regarding credit availability and Central Govt Scheme implementation. To empower our entrepreneurs, a renewed saturation drive will be launched for flagship schemes like PM MUDRA, Jan Dhan, PMJJBY, PMSBY, and PM SVANidhi. Additionally, upon my request, Hon'ble Finance Minister has agreed to order arrangements for roundtable meetings across all regions of West Bengal involving Public Sector Banks, MSMEs, and Industry Bodies to vastly expand credit access.

Youth Empowerment & Sports: Engaged in a forward-looking discussion with the Hon'ble Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports; Shri @mansukhmandviya Ji. Our focus is to foster youth empowerment and rapidly accelerate the sports ecosystem across West Bengal, ensuring our talented youth get the infrastructure and platforms they deserve.

My deepest gratitude to the Central Government for their unwavering support. Together, we are ushering in a new era of governance, health security, rural prosperity, and economic growth for every citizen of West Bengal.
