I haven’t heard any sort of convincing evidence that price-gouging legislation will help inflation or lower prices.
It’s popular with many voters in a, “well at least they’re trying something” vain, but it’s going to be hard to convince anyone who’s skeptical.
@onesoccerhelp I just logged in to catch up on last nights @Pacificfccpl and @ValourFootball game and the automatic always on channel was showing a replay and I immediately had the game spoiled as it was the 83rd minute.
Can I turn this feature off?
The biggest reason I’m no longer an Elizabeth Warren supporter is her stance on interest rates.
The only other politician I’ve seen with a similar stance (but in Canada) is @PierrePoilievre
And I’ve never seen an economists argument for their approaches.
The Fed took America’s housing crisis out of the frying pan and threw it into the fire. It’s time for them to be a part of the solution by lowering interest rates. https://t.co/6OS4hnMqCy
@acast there’s a massive communication gap between the trailers for your advertised shows and the product.
I DL Boom because of the high pace/action trailer and it’s incredibly slow.
I DL Politics is Murder because of the scripted high production trailer and it’s a talk show.
Found an employee at the terminal and asked just now.
“Hopefully we get you boarded and leaving by 12:30am”
Why isn’t this public knowledge to everyone waiting at the terminal?
They’ve even shut down the vessel trackers.
@BCFerries zero information online or at the terminal about the 10:45 pm ferry out of Duke Point.
Had a 5:45pm reservation.
When I asked a supervisor after missing the 8:15 (that was 45 minutes late) if the 10:45 was on time he laughed and said no then took a call.
I think Marching Bands are my favourite type of live music and it isn’t even close.
But they *must* incorporate silly dance moves or no points are awarded.
