@BigSwingTempo As it’s a singles match, no issue at all. You’ve absolutely no obligation to either 1) try your hardest to succeed or 2) help your opponent.
@AjayJadeja171 Who prepared the weather?!!!! They must be sacked.
One is a critique of deliberately difficult pitches, which is absolutely valid and controllable in prep; the other a pretty basic impact of humidity and temperature that is unavoidable and not possible to mitigate.
@melissagstory@DutchBKate Can someone do this with cricket commentators on SA names too. Even the SA commentators can’t seem to agree on pronunciations of their own country’s players! I appreciate some names are a minefield for commentators, as the upcoming football World Cup will likely demonstrate.
@PickensBurgh He has the privilege of access by winning. Is it “fair” that the champions have their own range? Is it “fair” he wins more money and so can afford to do these things?
You really think Scheffler, Tiger etc didn’t use their champions privileges?
He’d be a fool not to.
@TeeTimesPub The one player they don’t need to flatter by messing with the timer…. Sub 10s for approach, address and strike is great by ANY standard. Harman would still be on his 3rd waggle of 20 by 8.38s.
@sambillings@Russell19871 It could surely have just as easily been achieved by franchising the t20 competition. Make Champ Cricket Monday to Thursday, as early as the calendar allows), One day 50 over cricket Saturdays and run the t20 Franchise competition in the summer holidays in a 3-4 week sprint.
@Joey7Barton It’s just free trade - if you are able to buy or sell a player in January - they should be able to work freely for their new club from that point.
The alternative to just have one transfer window, but arguably thats a larger restriction of free trade given global schedules.
