@Lord_Talbot64@Aidan_Regan An extremely well articulated, reasoned, and polite response. A pity the same cannot be said of the Professor's post. I often wonder how these people get to where they are and survive. It's one of our species failings, so many people in roles they shouldn't be
@NJ_Timothy What a surprise but we are at the point where no promise from any UK government can be trusted. The potential for wriggling continually grows:
-Covid
-Brexit
-War somewhere
-Interests of National Security
-I didn't know
-I wasn't informed
-I can't remember
-etc.
@THEHUSSY1 We know it's a big task but the stunningly slow progress does raise a concern that the pace is being controlled and not for the benefit of the victims
@lillai23 At times the level of incompetence on offer in the public sector is almost unbelievable....it's what happens when people with no relevant ability, skills, knowledge, experience or training are given plum jobs they can't do
@TomK_Brit1993 No, but that's not a surprise since she lacks the required skills, knowledge, ability and experience to have been given the job in the first place
@TheGriftReport The individual responsible for dispatching 5 armed officers to the airport to arrest a member of the public on an incoming flight for a social media post needs to be named and disciplined with loss of benefits and/or position. Only then will a lesson have been truly learned.
