@RedsDaily4 As currently built, @Reds will always be a .500 team at best. Owners are OK with that. Fans come to games, buy food/drinks, watch on TV, buy merch, etc. 2023 inspired me. Now I'm back to feeling apathetic like 2014-2020. I won't go to many games or watch as much on TV next year.

@Super70sSports Nothing like March Madness from 1979 (Bird vs. Magic) thru Duke's back-to-back titles in '91 and '92. Almost every year was a classic Final Four and/or title game. The Golden Era of the NCAA Tourney. Sadly, we're never going back to that level to drama, characters, and greatness.

@BBGreatMoments 1988 All-Star Game. Downtown Cincinnati hotel where players stayed. Most players signed. Brett, Gooden, Maddux, Sandberg, Ozzie Smith. Biggest jerk was Mark McGwire. Smug, surly. Wouldn't sign for kids or anyone. Kindest player I met that day? Of course it was Cal Ripken, Jr.
